A Zen Life

10 tips for creating a Zen Life:

1. When you wake up in the morning -  
Smile and spend a few minutes visualizing your day, the way you'd like it to be  - the way it will be..   

2. Spend a moment  enjoying the aroma of your am coffee, tea or orange juice. 

3. Each day, as often as possible, reflect on at least 5 things you are grateful for.  You'll find many more reasons to be grateful, the longer you practice this. 

4. Take mini-breaks throughout the day - studies show this significantly increases productivity. 

5. Smile often

6. Be thankful often

7. Whatever you are doing consider it the most important thing in the world, even if just for that moment.  How lucky you are to be able to do the things you do, even if it is the dishes :) 

8. Be generous and considerate to each person you meet throughout your day.  Generosity is contagious and is proven to keep the givers spirits high. 

9. Before falling asleep, allow your body to relax.  Each part of it.  Stretch and lengthen your back and legs.  Your body will reward you with a more restful sleep and a refreshed feeling in the morning.  

10. Repeat steps 1-9.
